LAS VEGAS, NV – Opportunity Village introduces Steve Luce as its new Safety and Security Manager, a welcome addition to its expanding Facilities Team. In his role, Luce will be responsible for key initiatives including the standardization of safety training and the implementation of a new Safety Committee to oversee the not-for-profit’s four Southern Nevada campuses and Thrift Store.
Luce joins Opportunity Village with an impressive resume, serving nearly 31 years in the U.S. Navy as an officer, pilot and later in a diplomatic capacity at the United States Embassy in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Upon retiring from a military career that saw him spending time on all seven of the world’s continents, Luce made Las Vegas his home in 2009. He has since been immersed in the local non-profit realm and most recently acted as Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s Senior Manager of Safety and Security, a role he held for over six years.
