Opportunity Village Hosts Several Themed Events Throughout the Fall and Holiday Season for Families and Adults
 Enjoy the 4th annual HallOVeen, 2nd annual HallOVino, the Magical Forest, the Las Vegas Great Santa Run and more

WHAT:          

Opportunity Village is hosting multiple fall and holiday season themed events throughout the end of the year, including the 4th annual HallOVeen, 2nd annual HallOVino, Camelot at the Magical Forest, the Magical Forest, The Las Vegas Great Santa Run, and Santa Paws.

EVENTS:       

Opportunity Village’s 4th annual HallOVeen will showcase the Magical Forest transformed into a spooky land of goblins and ghosts. This child friendly event will feature fun for the whole family with rides and attractions including The Haunted Adventure by Santino and Rocco Panaro, a spooktacular Forest Express Passenger Train, Cheyenne’s Enchanted Carousel and Boris the Elf’s 3D Experience. Guests will enjoy crafts, movies, story telling, the Candy Cabin and special entertainment in the Haunted Castle Courtyard.

HallOVeen opens October 14 and will be open nightly from 5:30-9:30 p.m. through October 31. General admission pricing is $11.99 for adults and $9.99 for children. Wristbands will be sold for $12 and individual ride tickets for $3. Passport all-access tickets are $21.99 for entry and unlimited rides for adults and $18.99 for children. Children two and under are free. Tickets can be purchased online at www.HallOVeen.com or in person at the Magical Forest ticket office at the event.

HallOVino, an adults-only evening sponsored by the Opportunity Village Legacy Society and Sundvick Legacy Center, will take place on Thursday, October 20 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. This annual wine tasting event is designed to create awareness for Opportunity Village’s Legacy Society, which is comprised of members who have chosen to make a deferred gift to Opportunity Village. Individual tickets are available at www.hallOVino.org for $40 presale and will be available the night of the event for $50. Admission includes samplings of a variety of wine and hors d’oeurves along with Magical Forest attractions. HallOVino tickets will also come with two general admission tickets for Opportunity Village’s Magical Forest, valid through the 2016 season. Opportunity Village, Las Vegas’ Favorite Charity, is hosting its annual Camelot gala, an elegant black tie affair, at Opportunity Village’s Magical Forest on Thursday, November 3. This year the Magical Forest is celebrating 25 years of making holiday magic; having grown to become Las Vegas’ most cherished and longest running holiday tradition. The Magical Forest is a winter wonderland with millions of sparkling lights, nightly entertainment, great food and endless holiday cheer, open nightly at 5:30 p.m. from November 19, 2016 to January 1, 2017. The Magical Forest will be closed on Thanksgiving, November 24th, and Christmas, December 25th, so that Opportunity Village employees may enjoy the holiday with their friends and family. Guests will enjoy a forest filled with hundreds of dazzling trees, take a ride on the Forest Express Passenger Train, zoom around the track at Rudolph’s Raceway, play a round at Rod’s Mini-Golf, take a spin on Cheyenne’s Enchanted Carousel and much more.

The Las Vegas Great Santa Run will take place in downtown Las Vegas on Saturday, December 3. The Las Vegas Great Santa Run is not only one of Opportunity Village’s most important fundraisers but also an internationally recognized holiday tradition that attracts families, businesses, individuals and global tourists to downtown Las Vegas. Last year, over 9,000 runners participated in the event and this year Opportunity Village is hoping to attract over 10,000 Santas. The funds raised from the race help to support Opportunity Village’s programs and services for individuals with disabilities. For more information, please visit www.opportunityvillage.org. Opportunity Village is spreading holiday cheer to all of the furry friends in the Las Vegas Valley with Santa Paws at the Magical Forest on December 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Guests can share the magic of the holiday season with their beloved pets with an array of events sure to delight animals and humans alike. The afternoon-long occasion will feature local pet vendors, animal adoptions and demonstrations. In addition, pets and their owners can cozy up for an adorable photo opportunity with Santa, with photo packages staring at $21. Tickets are priced at $5 for individuals; you must have a pet with you to receive this price. Pets receive free admission. Classic Magical Forest holiday favorite attractions including Cheyenne’s Enchanted Carousel and The Forest Express Passenger Train will be open and pet friendly for this event, ride tickets must be purchased separately from admission, but are free for pets.
