LAS VEGAS, NV – As mega trade shows and conferences come and go in Las Vegas, so, too, must the makings and merchandise in preparation for the next visitor-filled convention. And with the Winter 2018 Las Vegas Market set to run January 28 through February 1, host World Market Center is now graciously donating truckloads of the latest in home décor and furniture to the Opportunity Village Thrift Store.

From bohemian chic dresser sets to rustic farmhouse kitchen tables, glamorous light fixtures to vintage wall art and more, savvy shoppers come back year after year to discover the unique and trendy offerings that, with the help of volunteers, make their way from the massive venue to the not-for-profit’s 390 S. Decatur retail location following the annual show. As the most comprehensive furniture, home décor and gift market in the Western United States, the Opportunity Village Thrift Store’s donation yield will once again include brand-new pieces as seen in high-end furnishings publications – many with deals of up to 50-75% or more off the retail price.

“Whether you’re an interior design pro or an amateur decorator on a budget, these are items you’ve probably been coveting online or in a magazine … and now, they’re in your price range,” says Eric Butwinick, Opportunity Village’s Director of Retail Operations. “Shop early and shop often in the weeks to come; these donations will go fast.”

Shoppers can browse and buy World Market Center merchandise – and much more – from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday, with Sunday hours from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Every penny of the retail shop’s proceeds support Opportunity Village’s myriad programs and services for Southern Nevadans with intellectual disabilities, including training and providing a paycheck to the Thrift Store’s many client employees.
