Presidential Candidate Dr. Ben Carson’s Wife Visits Opportunity Village LAS VEGAS – On Tuesday, August 4, Candy Carson, a graduate of Yale University and former concert violinist toured the Opportunity Village Engelstad Campus and performed a short program. The Opportunity Village’s Village Blend vocal group performed an opening number before Carson took the stage. LAS VEGAS – Candy Carson, a graduate of Yale University and former concert violinist will be touring the Opportunity Village Engelstad Campus on Tuesday, August 4. In addition to her tour, she will also perform a short program at 10:00 a.m. Candy is the wife of presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson. Social traveler highlights organizations nationwide with “50 States, 100 Days” campaign LAS VEGAS – Opportunity Village will host Chris Strub of #TeamStrub as part of his “50 States, 100 Days” awareness campaign on June 17th at the Engelstad and Oakey campus from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Opportunity Village will conduct an hour-long tour filled with handshakes, hugs and high-fives then train Strub on volunteering. He will help artists in the Opportunity Village Art Studio then assist OVIPs in the Employment Resource Center.
